"I was going to do rehabilitation for my arms at a sports centre and I joined the team there. That's where I met my coach and since he knew that I did leg sports like athletics and football, one day he encouraged me to train [in taekwondo], to do some kicks and to release a little adrenaline. Juan [Luis Martinez, coach] saw that I had potential in my legs and that I was moving pretty fast. I started in taekwondo and it hooked me.
