She took up the sport at age 13 in Thailand. (Athlete, 06 Sep 2015)
:
After the attack she began attending Sri Sangwan School for Students with Impairments in Nonthaburi, Thailand. A physical education teacher at the school introduced her to the sport. "I did not want to leave my family. I always slept with my parents. But my father thought that I would be better off studying in Sri Sangwan School. I was surprised to see that students with physical limitations could still play various sports. The physical education teacher introduced me to table tennis because he knew that I liked sports. I started to develop and dedicated myself to training until I made the youth national team." (thaipublica.org, 26 Jan 2016; bangkokbiznews.com, 04 Nov 2014; bangkokpost.com, 21 Aug 2016)
