SANCTION
He tested positive for the prohibited substances methylprednisolone and glucocorticosteroids at the 2016 National Paralympic Week in West Java, Indonesia. In March 2017 he was suspended from competing for six months by the Anti-Doping Disciplinary Board of the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports. He said the presence of the substances resulted from him taking flu medicine before the competition. "I did not know the medicine contained prohibited substances. My allergies recur in cold weather. That was why I took the medicine. Let me be an example even though it's a bit hard for me to accept. But at least other athletes can be more careful."
