"Growing up my biggest dream was to become a football player. When I was eight years old, in 1992, the Danish team won the European championships and I spent all my free time kicking a ball. Although my body isn't compatible with the sport I still managed to play at my local club for five years and had a fantastic time. As I got older I realised that I probably wouldn't make the national team so I started playing table tennis and it took off from there." (foraricherlife.com, 01 Jun 2020)

General
TALK SHOW
He hosts an online talk show inspired by British TV programme 'The Last Leg'. The show aims to showcase Denmark's top athletes, as well as change perceptions surrounding impairments. "We want to make people smarter and curious about the athletes who compete for Denmark, and at the same time, focus on anxiety and prejudice. In addition, I want to show that we athletes are not afraid to talk about our disability and that it is an important part of our history. That's exactly what's changed over the course of my career. When I started, the media would talk almost exclusively about our disability, the sport was secondary. That is why we often stood on our hind legs and said that we only wanted to talk about sports performance. There has been a long time between then and now, which is why I feel that we are ready to take the step 'back' again. Our disability is what should make us interesting in relation to the Olympic [able-bodied] athletes. With all the fear of abuse that is in society at the moment, I think it is a great signal to send that we are not victims and that we feel good about our situation, and therefore no one needs to feel sorry for us either." (dif.dk, 15 Jan 2021; parasport.dk, 16 Dec 2020)

OCCUPATION
He works part-time as fundraising manager for Denmark's National Para Table Tennis Centre in Brondby, Denmark. (foraricherlife.com, 24 Mar 2020; LinkedIn profile, 02 Apr 2021)
