COVID-19 IMPACT
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, while pools were closed she was forced to focus on fitness training until she was offered the chance to use a small private pool. "I tried to keep as fit as much as possible. I turned my room into a small gym and I tried to maintain stamina on my handcycle. After a while, I was lucky enough to be helped by people who own a private pool. Then I was able to tie myself to the edge with a rubber band and swim on the spot." (nau.ch, 26 Aug 2020)
