DETERMINATION
Even when his vision began to fail, he stayed focused on swimming. "I never had the desire to stop swimming because of illness. When you set goals for yourself, either in childhood or at an older age, you squeeze it to the maximum. I was not ready to give 10 years of my life to nothing just because I had some kind of illness.
