Her twin sister Beatriz has represented Brazil at Para swimming and competed at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. She also won silver in the SB14 100m breaststroke at the 2017 World Championships in Mexico City, Mexico and gold in the SM14 200m individual medley at the 2019 Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru.
