He is close friends with Israeli Para swimmer Ziv Better, who sustained a vision impairment on the same battlefield in Lebanon where Shaziri lost his leg. WHEELCHAIR BUSINESS
In 1994 he founded Pro-Fit Wheelchairs, a sports wheelchair manufacturing business based in Petah Tikva, Israel. "I have a very intuitive approach to engineering, and what engineers learn to calculate, I can just see with my mind's eye.
