She began Para rowing in 2018, after switching from Para canoe. "I liked rowing and in 2019 I began to train with the dream of competing at the Paralympic Games. Rowing for me means the freedom that I had before my accident and the feeling I had when I went out for a run, with the wind in my face and the certainty that I am on the right path." (tn.com.ar, 04 Aug 2021)

She originally discovered Para canoe by chance in 2013 while on a picnic with friends. "A friend saw I was not feeling good, and as she wanted to cheer me up she invited me to a picnic. It had rained a lot and a sort of lagoon was formed. Her boyfriend took some inflatable kayaks, he took me out of my chair and put me on the kayak. I began rowing and I said, 'Wow, this is so good'. Once I was back home I told my family that I wanted to keep on doing it." (tn.com.ar, 04 Aug 2021)
