She began rowing in 2011 at Pembroke College in Oxford, England. (pmb.ox.ac.uk, 22 Aug 2019)

She was introduced to the sport at a rowing taster event at Pembroke College. "I started coxing at Pembroke essentially as soon as I matriculated in 2011, when I went to the rowing taster event in the first week of freshers. It was pretty intimidating at first as I had no idea what I was doing but you have to learn fast and I quickly fell in love with the sport." (pmb.ox.ac.uk, 22 Aug 2019)

She and fellow British Para rowers Ellen Buttrick, Giedre Rakauskaite, James Fox and Oliver Stanhope were named the 2019 Para Crew of the Year by World Rowing. (britishrowing.org, 22 Nov 2019)
