FROM GERMANY TO ITALY
Born in Germany, she lived in several countries growing up before settling in Italy at around age 20. "My father is German and my mother Italian. I was born in Germany and after the first year I went to live in the United States [of America] for 10 years. I went to Canada for three years and then I went back to Germany for two, then I finally arrived in Italy. My parents are both researchers. My father works for the World Health Organisation and so he travels a lot. That's why I started life a little bit eventful, let's say. That [travel] has become an addiction to me. I went to Germany to study biology and then when they came to Italy I was accepted to study medicine. It was strange to stay in Milan for so long where I live."
