SANCTIONS
In February 2016 she tested positive for the banned substance meldonium while competing at the World Cup event in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In November 2016 the International Paralympic Committee [IPC] announced that she had been stripped of all her results from the date of the doping test, including the bronze medal she won at the event. However, she was not suspended from competition due to the IPC deciding that "no fault or negligence" applied to her case based on information provided by the World Anti-Doping Agency [WADA] and the IPC Anti-Doping Code. Previously, she was suspended for two years starting from April 2013 after testing positive for the banned substance methandienone while competing at the 2013 Fazaa International Competition in Dubai.
