FUTURE CAREER
He studied mathematics at Gakushuin University in Japan and aspires to pursue a career as a mathematics teacher after competing at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. "I have always loved maths since I was in primary school. There are also similarities between judo and math. In judo, of course, I do it depending on my feelings, but there are formulae like which techniques I should apply in order to defend and attack. Moreover, my inspiration was my maths teacher without vision, who I met at middle school. He told me about his experiences such as going overseas alone and living alone, and it helped me to open my eyes wide. I want to become a teacher like him and pass down my experiences and wisdom and the pleasure of maths to the next generation." (Nippon Challenged Athlete Radio, 09 Oct 2020; sankei.com, 20 Mar 2019)
