CLASSIFICATION ISSUE AND RETURN
Two days before the 2014 World Championships in Espoo, Finland, she was withdrawn from the Israeli team after her eyesight was deemed better than her classification showed following a test. She decided against an appeal, which would have ruled out a chance of future reclassification if it failed, and stepped away from goalball. She later took up a coaching role in the sport with the aim of attending the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo, before lodging a successful appeal on her classification at the July 2019 International Qualifier in Fort Wayne, IN, United States of America, and returning to the national team. "There was a really slight deterioration in my vision. Things didn't change for me in terms of everyday life, but did in terms of sport. When I was classified, it took me a few days to digest.
