In 2021 he teamed up with new tandem partner Corentin Ermenault, who has competed in able-bodied track cycling at international level. "Initially, we were aiming for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. But with the arrival of COVID-19 and the postponement of the 2020 Paralympic Games, we finally decided to give ourselves an opportunity to win a title at the 2020 Games.
