"I've always been competitive and found that I really enjoyed the sport. Unfortunately, after a few years the club folded and consequently I stopped playing boccia. Many years later, while at university, I went to support a friend who was competing in the national boccia championships in Sheffield [England]. This inspired me to start playing again."
