He was introduced to boccia through Parent Project, a non-profit organisation set up in the Czech Republic by parents of children with Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy. "Whenever there was time, my mum and I practised in the corridor at my primary school. When I started out in the sport, I was supported by my mother, who was my caddie and assistant.
