EARLY DAYS
She only received her own wheelchair at age 14 due to her family's financial situation when she was young. "I came from a family with not so many resources. In my childhood my father worked as a metallurgy employee, and my mother was a nursing assistant. We lived in a rented house, and a wheelchair 20 years ago was too expensive, and in my case we needed two, since my brother needed one too.
