He was influenced by his older sister and his friend, so he entered a badminton club at primary school. He had trained with able-bodied badminton players while in middle school. He switched to Para badminton, after his father found about the sport on the notice board that was placed at a Para sports centre. "Despite my impairment to the left leg, I was able to compete and play with able-bodied players, so it made me continue playing badminton."
