Impairment Details
He sustained a severe knee injury while playing football at age eight, which resulted in restricted movement in the knee. He underwent two surgeries to treat the injury. "The second surgery was slightly more successful as I regained movement, but my knee was still jammed. I couldn't go for smashes as it required me to shift the balance. The lifts were also a problem as I needed to stretch forward. But I have modified my game to make my impairment less crippling."
