"As a child I loved sports - running, swimming, weights. I was always interested in being in good condition. At school, I wanted to become a fitness trainer and nutritionist, but I wasn't a good student so I started working as a waiter and saved money. After the accident, my goal was to stand up again. When I managed to do that, a journalist friend suggested I go to the sports federation for people with an impairment, where I met my coach. I started with throwing events but my dream was to put on running blades and they are very expensive. I was helped financially by a lot of people and managed to buy blades. Then I started to run."
