Impairment Details
She was diagnosed with amniotic band syndrome, a condition at birth where the foetus becomes entangled in fibrous amniotic bands in the womb, restricting blood flow. She wants to take a career path in physical therapy. "I plan on going into the medical field in the area of physical therapy and rehabilitation. What I want to do is I want to help people through recovery and adaptive processes after injury or traumatic events.
