She played handball for three years and judo before the amputation. She took up Para athletics because she needed to run again after her surgery. "I didn't like running but after the illness I had this will of running. I don't know why but I have this need of taking out all my energy." She then discovered running blades during a manufacturer presentation in 2016 and decided to take up the sport. "There I met [French Para athlete] Marie-Amelie Le Fur. I was so excited. Running helps me think about other things, and to improve myself. I like the spirit of competition and seeing what I am capable of."
