General
EYES ON TOKYO
He won silver in the F12 shot put at the 2019 World Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, despite his preparation for the event being disrupted due to a knee injury. "The silver tastes like glory after the injury. I wasn't very good in the event. The sensations weren't good, I couldn't find my rhythm and I wasn't precise, that's why I threw one metre less that I had been doing. I'll have to prepare better for Tokyo and push my technique to improve on these marks. If all goes well we'll be able to compete better at the Games." (dxtadaptado.com, 10 Nov 2019)
