BREAK AND NATIONALITY SWITCH
After she competed at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro for the United States of America, she took a break from international competition to focus on her education at Pomona College in Claremont, California. She holds dual Canadian and US citizenship, and made the switch to represent Canada upon her return to the international stage at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru.
