Impairment Details
Her impairment is the result of a knee injury she sustained at age 15 while skiing. She underwent several surgeries, but the injury did not heal and reduced the power in her legs. In 2003 she began using a wheelchair. (nj24.pl, 04 Feb 2012; Facebook page, 07 Mar 2020; polskieradio.pl, 31 Jan 2020)

FUTURE PLAN
After her retirement from sport, she says she wants to share her knowledge with the next generation. "I've started a course to become a Para sport instructor. I know that I won't be an easy coach, because I myself am not an easy athlete to be coached. I'm very strict and demanding for myself and for others. Every professional athlete knows that to achieve success, hard work and engagement are needed and this I will also require as a coach.
