General
PARALYMPIC DREAM
Watching her brother Kesley compete at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro increased her own dedication to the sport and helped her focus her attention on preparing for the 2020 Games in Tokyo. "There are no words to describe the thrill of being inside the Olympic stadium cheering for my brother. Then I wondered what it would be like if I were on the track. I felt sorry for not dedicating myself harder and try to get a spot at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. This experience has been a boost to my dedication to the sport. I will work hard to make sure I will be at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo. Getting a spot there is a constant in my life now." (rolnews.com.br, 27 Apr 2019; globo.com, 21 Sep 2016)
