Since 2013 he has served as president of the Association of the Blind in Ogulin, Croatia, and says he wants to motivate people with impairments to feel equal members of society. "A small number of people with impairments are employed, I don't know why these people stay quiet, they don't depend on anyone, any associations, unions, or committees, and it's about their rights. We want and can work, have a family and be equal citizens, and we must get involved in political life. During my time as president, I am very proud of my work, my staff and members, who have accepted my ideas and guidelines. We have become an association that can and wants to work better and better."
