REPRESENTING GUINEA
He was born in Guinea and moved to France at age seven with his family to seek medical treatment after the accident that damaged his eyesight, before settling permanently in the country. After representing France, including at the 2013 World Championships in Lyon, France, he switched to represent Guinea in 2020. "In January 2020, I decided to write a new page in my sports career. I am like a boomerang - I always come back to my roots. I hope to contribute to the influence of Guinean sport on the world as I did in the French team, but above all I hope to change the outlook on disability."
