Impairment Details
After he fell ill with dengue fever when he was age 18 months, his parents took him to a local doctor who administered him with an injection that had an adverse effect and led to his impairment. (paralympic.org, 29 Oct 2019; sportscafe.in, 10 Nov 2018)

MOTHER'S MEDAL DEDICATION
He dedicated his gold medal at the 2018 Asian Para Games in Indonesia to his late mother, who died shortly before the start of the Games. "I lost my mother just 20 days before the competition, so I felt a lot of pressure, mentally. I have lost many things in my life, even my mother, so I had to take a medal from there and luckily I won. All that is because of my hard work and the blessings of my mother."
