He has represented the United States of America in Para alpine skiing and competed at the 2017 World Championships in Tarvisio, Italy. He has also competed in able-bodied archery at national level in the United States of America, and in triathlon at the 2012 Ironman World Championships in Kona, HI, United States of America. ARCHERY OVER SKIING
He has also represented the United States of America in Para alpine skiing and attempted to balance the two sports, before focusing on Para archery. "I was trying to be a two-sport athlete, and I told my archery coach that if I made the [2017 Para archery] world championships team, I would quit ski racing. I didn't think I had a chance. Then I made the team, and I said, 'Darn it, I really like skiing, but I seem to be better in archery, at a lot faster rate'. So I hung on to that and put all I had into it."
