ADOPTION
She was adopted at birth after her biological mother made the decision to give her up. "My biological mother tried to abort me through alcohol and drugs while she was pregnant with me, which didn't kill me but stunted the growth of my legs. When she found out, she said she did not want to take care of a baby without legs. She didn't want a baby in the first place, let alone one she would need medical equipment for. My parents who adopted me found out about me a few days before I was born. My mum flew out to Oregon [United States of America], adopted me and when I was four days old, flew me back to Florida."
