STUDYING IN USA
In 2014 he moved to the United States of America to study at the University of California Irvine. After completing his four-year degree he returned to Croatia, signing a contract with HAOK Mladost Zagreb in January 2018. "Water polo in the United States is not played at the same level like in Croatia, so I cannot say that I have improved there. I played a different way, because there is a shorter pool and therefore there is more swimming and moving, and I think I can use it. As for life, the United States gave me a lot. I have mastered my English, graduated from college, travelled, started lifelong friendships. I had an opportunity to live alone, which helped me to become more independent in life."
