General Interest

General
OCCUPATION
In September 2020 he began serving in the sports squadron of the Hungarian Defence Forces. "When I joined the Honved [in 2020], I didn't even think I would be a soldier. Then they mentioned the sports squadron, where I can serve as both an athlete and a military personnel. I have always been attracted to the military and I think team sports are an excellent terrain where I can serve my country." (honved.hu, 28 Jan 2021; honvedelem.hu, 26 Jan 2021; szentendre.media.hu, 17 Nov 2020)

RETIREMENT PLANS
He plans to retire from the national team after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "I'll still be playing as a club player, probably with the Honved. I am basically from Budapest, but during my career I have played in many rural clubs and now [speaking in 2021] that one of our children has reached school age, we are planning to stay in Budapest for the long term. The Honved simply seemed like a good decision." (honvedelem.hu, 26 Jan 2021; waterpolo.hu, 11 Jun 2020)
