She relocated from Argentina to Europe at age 17 in order to advance her volleyball career. She played in Spain, France, Germany and Turkey, but says her personal highlight was playing in Italy. "When I was a girl I said, 'Once I finish school I'm going to move away'. The growth was leaps and bounds in all senses. I think at the time, I felt I was maturing more as a woman, as a person, and over time I learned how to be professional, how to live alone, how to endure hard times, distance, languages, cultures. I sometimes compare playing in Italy to playing at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. For me it was like getting to Disneyworld. Going there was the best." NATIONAL TEAM BREAK
She did not play for the national team for a year between 2018 and 2019 following a disagreement with former national coach Guillermo Orduna due to comments she made about the team during a radio interview in 2018. She was recalled to the national team the following year after coach Hernan Ferraro replaced Orduna. "I haven't closed my cycle because I still have plenty to give to the team, to the young players. I left due to an unfairness and not because I wanted to. I suffered a lot, but now it's a new process. There's a new staff and the doors were opened once again for me.
