He has coached Brazilian men's teams Frigorifico Chapeco [1995-97], Olympikus [1997-99], Unisul [1999-05], Cimed [2005-07] and Volei Taubate [2019-20]. He also coached the Brasil Telecom women's team for a period between 1999 and 2005, and served as head coach at Sisley Treviso in Italy from 2007 to 2008.
