INTERNATIONAL RETIREMENT
She intends to retire from international volleyball after the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and the 2021 European Championship, for which Belgrade, Serbia, is one of the host cities. "This is my last summer in my dearest jersey. We know that I will play at the 2020 Games in Tokyo and then at the European Championship. There is no better way to end my national team career than in from of my home crowd [in Belgrade]." She also left Turkish team VakifBank SK following the 2020/21 season, saying she intends to take a break from club volleyball. "I have been thinking since the beginning of the [COVID-19] pandemic that after the end of my contract with VakifBank I would take a break from volleyball to focus on family. And I have to say that I am quite excited about everything that awaits me. For now, I don't know how long the break will be, I haven't thought about it. We'll see how much I will miss volleyball." (sportskacentrala.com, 20 Jul 2021; sportklub.rs, 20 Jul 2021; vakifbanksporkulubu.com, 08 May 2021)

EARLY DAYS
Born in Pristina, Kosovo, she experienced the Kosovo War as a child in the late 1990s. "I survived bombing, it was not easy. However, I remember the best things from Kosovo, because I have strong memories from childhood." (novosti.rs, 26 Oct 2015)
