In 2017 her husband Daniele Santarelli became head coach of her club Imoco Volley Conegliano. The couple also got married in the same year, and she says they manage to maintain an athlete-coach relationship in volleyball. "We are professionals, those who know us know that our relationship in the locker room is exactly of that between athlete and coach. I am treated like my companions. Going home, from Treviso to Conegliano Veneto, is a 20-minute ride and on this journey we talk a lot. But you leave your work outside the front door, and the topics switched to those of a normal couple, from dinner to a movie to watching television."
