She says playing alongside senior setters Jane Wacu and Janet Wanja with the national team has helped her to develop as setter. "It has not been an easy journey [speaking in 2020]. Every time I've been called up to the national squad, whether I got the chance to play or not, I left a different person. Playing in the shadows of Wanja and Wacu has really helped in learning the dynamics of the game and grow as a player. Jane Wacu is a great setter in Africa. She is the best in her role, but again, I believe in myself that I can do it and I can prove that I can be the best in this position."
