She took a one-year break from the sport after competing at the 2009 North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation [NORCECA] Championships in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in order to start a family. WELL TRAVELLED
She has played volleyball in a number of countries around the world, including the Russian Federation, Italy, Turkey, Japan, Republic of Korea, Indonesia and Puerto Rico. She has also won the national league in five different countries. "I have nothing to complain about my career at club level. I have been very successful in all the places I have played and winning a strong league like the Russian league with two different teams has been an amazing thing. I am the only player from my country to have won the Champions League, which is a great honour."
