In early 2020, she broke three metatarsal bones in her foot when she was hit by a car at a training camp in South Africa. (swissolympicteam.ch, 06 Apr 2020)

She suffered from glandular fever in April 2014. She returned to training in July 2014 and ran her first races in August. (triteam-schattdorf.ch, 26 May 2016)

She received a starting place at a triathlon in Sempach, Switzerland, in 2009. She had not previously trained for triathlon. (zytturmtriathlon.ch, 2015)
