His partner Angelica Olmo has represented Italy in triathlon and athletics. In triathlon, she won bronze at the 2018 World U23 Championships in Gold Coast, QLD, Australia and gold medals in the women's individual and mixed relay events at the 2016 European U23 Championships in Burgas, Bulgaria. She also won gold in mixed relay at the 2015 European U23 Championships in Banyoles, Spain. In athletics, she competed in the European cross country championships in 2013 and 2014. He focused on sports after his return to continental France at age 10 having moved with his family to live in New Caledonia for three years.
