NO CELEBRATION
After winning the singles title at the 2020 ATP Finals in London, England, he showed no signs of celebration on the court. "That is going to be my thing. In tennis I think I probably am the first one [not to celebrate], definitely in football I have seen players who do not celebrate. I decided during the [2019] US Open when I had a tough time with the crowd. I don't celebrate my victories. That is my thing and I like it." (bbc.com, 23 Nov 2020)

FROM RUSSIAN FEDERATION TO MONACO
Born in Moscow, Russian Federation, he first moved to France at age 18 and later to Monaco in order to advance his tennis career. "I like being in Russia, I was born and raised there. But at age 18, to play tennis, I first left for the south of France, and about age 21 I moved to Monaco. This decision was made by my parents, and in terms of my career, it has turned out to be the right one. Therefore, while I continue to play tennis, I'll stay here. At the end of my athletic career, I'll return to Russia." (gq.ru, 26 May 2020)
