General
LIFE JOURNEY
After the outbreak of war in 1992 he and his family had to leave their hometown of Jajce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They arrived in Nova Gorica, Slovenia, where his father was appointed as table tennis head coach at the NTK Vrtojba club. Bojan started his career there, and has since played for clubs in Italy, France, and Germany. "Every champion has their own story. I had some tough moments in my life. I experienced war, I had to get used to new languages, environments, and adapt to other habits." (sptl.fi, 21 May 2021; primorske.si, 22 Oct 2011)

COACHING FUTURE
In 2021 it was announced that he would become the head coach of Belgium's national team following the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. (sporza.be, 14 Apr 2021)
