HEALTH CONDITION
In her second year at high school, she was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, a condition that causes pain and stiffness of the spine. "I was playing in the Republic of Korea, and when I got up, I found that I couldn't lift my head at all. It hurt so much when I moved. I kept looking at the ceiling and couldn't move after lying down for about ten minutes. Finally I went to the hospital with my mother and after an examination, the diagnosis was ankylosing spondylitis. I can't tell whether I'm sore from exercise or sore from the condition. But I can't give up. If I don't practice, is there another route I can take? As long as you win, you will forget the pain. If you lose, you just think about the feeling of winning." (tw.nextmgz.com, 17 Aug 2018; rti.org.tw, 02 Aug 2017)

FURTHER EDUCATION
After earning a degree in sports coaching at Chinese Culture University in Taipei City, Chinese Taipei, she remained at the university to study for a doctorate in the same subject. (Facebook profile, 12 Apr 2021)
