In January 2017 she underwent surgery on her left knee. She had experienced pain for three months prior to the surgery, but injured the knee further during a Champions League match against Austrian player Sofia Polcanova. She returned to competition in late March 2017. (ittf.com, 02 May 2017)

OVERSEAS EXPERIENCE
She played for Italian club ASTT Sandonatese between 2008 and 2010, and then joined Turkish club Fenerbahce SK until 2016. She then moved to French club Metz TT before relocating to Poland to play for KTS Tarnobrzeg ahead of the 2017/18 season. She also had a brief stint playing with Top Otome Pingpongs Nagoya in the Japanese T-League between November 2020 and January 2021.
