General Interest

General
BETWEEN GERMANY AND FRANCE.
He plays for French club GV Hennebont but lives in Dusseldorf, Germany, where his family resides. "I live there because my family is there, but I really appreciate France and the way they live there, this propensity that people, often very friendly, get together to share good times." (letelegramme.fr, 26 Nov 2020)

FATHERHOOD
He says becoming a father has taught him patience. "Fatherhood is a very special feeling because it also gives you a big portion of patience. You need to be patient to be a good example for your son and this is also very important and I am enjoying every moment of my fatherhood as everyone is very happy that the baby is healthy." (ittf.com, 11 Sep 2020)

EARLY SCHOLARSHIP
At age 14 he received a four-year scholarship from the International Table Tennis Federation [ITTF]. "I must admit that the ITTF scholarship really helped me a lot in my career because I had the chance to play lots of competitions across the world as well as attending several top class training camps in Europe and Asia. This opportunity gave me the chance to improve my skills under high level training camps." (ittf.com, 11 Sep 2020)
