Ashraf Helmy [national, father], EGY

Her cousin Dina Meshref and her father Ashraf Helmy have both represented Egypt in table tennis at the Olympic Games. Ashraf competed at the Games in 1988, 1992, and 2000, while Dina participated at the Games in both 2012 and 2016. Her father Ashraf also serves as head coach of the Egyptian women's table tennis team. Her grandfather has served as the president of the Egyptian Table Tennis Federation, while her uncle Alaa served as vice-president at the federation.
