At the 2019 World Championships in Gwangju, Republic of Korea, the Israeli team swam the 10th-fastest time in the heats and did not make the final.

Israel made their first European championship appearance in the event at the 2018 edition of the tournament in Glasgow, Scotland, where they recorded the ninth-best time in the heats. They clocked the 23rd-fastest time at the 2020 European Championships, which were held in May 2021.
