DIFFICULT CONDITIONS
In 2020 he said that Greek swimmers have a harder path to success than athletes in other countries. "There are always problems and ideal training conditions are difficult to achieve. Of these problems, some are related to swimming pools, as there is often not enough space on the lanes, the water temperature is not always desired or there isn't the required equipment in and out of the water. To overcome such issues, the solution is usually time-consuming travel and personal expenses borne by the athletes. Such problems, and many more, make the successes of Greek athletes even more valuable, if we consider that swimmers in other countries do not have the same obstacles in their daily training."
